I am a beginner level programmer and I have this doubt in my mind. Why is Python programming language so popular even if it is very slow. There should be some other better choices or am I missing something here. Please share your views on Python being so popular despite beings very slow language.
Thanks in advance!
Present SlideKeymasterPython is not that slow in general but when compared to other languages then yes it is a bit on a slower side. Despit being slow, it is far more popular that those languages, and the reasons are as follows:
- Python has a simple syntax that is both easy to read and understand
- It is a beginner-friendly language
- The availability of a number of Python libraries makes it more powerful
