    I’ve been working for the last few months as a Data Scientist. Being just a beginner in this field I just went through some of the basic pieces of work in Data Science.

    I got a question in my mind that if things are going good using Python then why do we need Golang. No doubt Go is the new programming language and it can do great things as well. But is Golang appropriate for Data Science?

    Does anyone have some valid reasons to prove that Golang is really appropriate for Data Science? Would hope to get the help shortly.

    Although Go is a good programming language for Data Science deployment, it is not widely used because of a wider acceptance of Python for Data Science and Machine Learning. Go also wins on the speed part when compared to Python. If you want, you can actually try working with Golang and if it suits you and your working environment then there shouldn’t be any issues.
